We lost our Allie af...Connie, thanks for the note. We lost our Allie after 14 years - it's a different kind of grief for me. Seeing dog hair and no dog. Thinking that you have to check their water, let them out, feed them. So much of my schedule was based around Allie's needs. <br /><br />You did the most compassionate act available. She was a wonderful dog with not a mean bone in her body. She had diabetes and the last three days of her life were miserable. We had to put her down. She was exhausted and gently laid her sweet head down quickly after the injection. <br /><br />I understand your grief.
