I have come to the realization that perhaps life won't ever slow down. We have been up early this week to walk the Handsome One and out at the end of our days to get him one more walk around the block.
It has also been a wonderful week of American Idol, hockey and some friends. Deb came over with her sweet pups to look at some painting needed around the house. While she walked around, the dogs played hard, really hard.
Friday night, Paul has his pasta meal before his 5k on Saturday morning and I get a night to myself. Woo hoo! Saturday Paul runs the race and we have good friends coming for dinner. I bet that there will be some pictures too. :)
While we were out and about this evening, I took a few pictures on our walk. Everything is in bloom, hence my headaches. But it's gorgeous. Good night all!

Oh, for the love of the lilac!! I miss their sweet scent. Kat and I picked up a bunch at the grocery store the other day. I, of course, plunged my face into the bunch and inhaled. Know what? Lilacs from Safeway don't smell. At all. They had absolutely no aroma.
I bought carnations. I don't even like carnations. But the despair of an odorless lilac was more than I could stand. :-(
I LOVE your lilac pic. And the rest, too. But that one touched my heart.
