Rooms with a view

I headed up to Oscoda this weekend to connect with our fabulous contractors, pay them and just enjoy a little time in this unseasonably warm spring to take it all in. Before I left, my daily meditation book  for the day was:

Well, I didn't burn it down but we did some hard core work.  Well, we didn't - Rick did.  The windows look amazing; that new slider is incredible.  There used to be an old door, with cracked glass, covered in siding.  Not anymore. Now we can see. Everything. Sun, sand, water, waves, hawks, eagles.  Everything. We can see the water from every point in the house, except the bedrooms. So we can just sleep in the living room if we want to see the water during slumber.

It almost looks warm enough for a dip.  I promise you though, it wasn't.   Soon enough, soon enough.
