Heaven

I have always loved the water.  I was born in January, making me an Aquarius, and from the moment I could move, I wanted to be in the water. All these years later, I can be.

There is something magnificent about the sound and smell of fresh lake water.  Lake Huron and her sugar sand stretch north and south of Oscoda is as close to perfect as I have found.

Add a north to north-east breeze that captures just the right amount of coolness, and there isn't much better.

Crystal clear water, with gorgeous sand. It will be swimming temp by next weekend. I am confident. :)

Good night.

Wow, I just happened to come upon your blog after reading one of a friend's...I was born in Michigan and spent summers as a child (and a few recently) visiting family in Oscoda! Thanks for sharing these beautiful pictures - and bringing back so many amazing memories of Huron for me :)
