I always wondered what that meant. Then we brought Samson home. He is a crazy dog and is very much enjoying life around him. Saturday night, before dinner, Paul and I were enjoying an adult oat hop and Samson was post dinner, chewing his bones. The beautiful thing about Samson is that he has absolutely no inhibitions or modesty. Here he is sprawled on his back, happy as a clam. Now if this was a once-in-a-while demonstration, I probably would not have taken the pictures. Rather, this is his evening ritual; chewing his bone, flat on his back, legs sprawled, chortling and talking away. More and more, he is at home in the house. We find him very amusing and oh, so enjoyable!
This afternoon, we went to see our friend Deb, who is back from Chicagoland. Her leg is still in a cast and her first post-ER visit is with her surgeon tomorrow. Hopefully the cast will come off and a more portable cast will be put on. Paul is taking her to the doctor for the visit and will make sure that she gets all the paperwork needed to take care of herself in the next couple of weeks. It was good to see her back.
The weekend is wrapping up. We did the easy, breezy 10 minute for dinner. We shared Hunan Beef and Sesame Chicken. There is plenty for leftovers. Tomorrow is back to work!
