End for summer

For real.  The absolute very end of any possibility of getting one last day in on the beach or in the water or both.

It's over until next year.

Snow Fence

Sigh.  At least the snow fence makes for a good picture. And I am resigned to cold and blowing snow for the remainder of the year.

Tomorrow, it's back to work.

That's actually one of my favorite photos from your view. The colors are beautiful. Snow fence? =)

The sun was rising (it's far to the south right now) and it cast a gorgeous light into a very bleak picture. I don't know why they are called snow fences ... really they should be called sand fences but perhaps because the snow brings the sand? Or both? All I know is the one year we didn't put it up, it was $300 for a friend with his bobcat to move all the sand that accumulated at our door.

I've noticed something about summer. It's shorter than you want it to be, and it takes a longer time to come back than you want it to. I'll survive though. Love the picture.
