Weekend

We watched it rain, thinking the sun would never make it to us.  We headed up to Harrisville to have lunch at our very favorite restaurant, the Old Place Inn.  Don had several soups on the menu.  Lentil (heavenly), Russian Root soup, Mac and Cheese soup (wow), and Chicken Florentine.

I could go on and on about the salad bar.  Cauliflower soaked in banana peppers.  Mushrooms.  Asian noodle salad.  Shredded coconut with marshmallows.  Potato salad.  And of course, homemade dressing.  I love that place.

They sell the craziest stuff.  Like these.

Pausing for a pose

Paul and I were having lunch at our fave place in Harrisville and took the long way home via the Harrisville Marina.

From Waves

While enjoying the view, a seagull came to visit.  Perhaps thinking we had snitches.  We only had cameras.

So delicate, the feathers, the face, the feet.

And enjoyed the breeze.

We enjoyed our visit.  We always do.
