Ghosts

No it isn't Halloween, it's Christmas. With Christmas comes reflection and memories and thoughts. And maybe some Ghosts. Even Ebeneezer had to live with a few.

Just when I think I'm winning
When I've broken every door
The ghosts of my life
Blow wilder then before

Our lives with Samson are an evolution, an experience and an awakening. But our handsome boy is living with a ghost, Allie. Allie was a wonderful dog who trained us so well that she and we had very little learning to do. But we have some learning to do for Samson and periodically we wonder how it could be so easy with Allie. We still miss her. Every night, we lift our glass and toast our girl.

Christmas came early for Samson. He got a his first bone to gnaw and enjoy.

We had 10 minute for dinner. I am 'not very much' - I have a fever and wicked headache. I had egg drop soup for dinner along with some boiled dumplings. Paul enjoyed mongolian beef and we both enjoyed a frosty Founders.

Tonight the Red Wings play their last game before the Christmas break. It's nice to watch hockey while enjoying a roaring fire and a cup of cocoa.

Good night from Michigan!
