We're baaaack

From the Yoopee and my conference. We have a dozen hilarious stories including visits to the "V" and American Legion in Sault Ste. Marie; dinners and way too much fun with good friend, Scott; karaoke like I have never heard it before; big time winnings at the Blackjack table and geriatric, chain-smoking, walker-pushing, bingo-playing, buffet-eating, hotel and casino occupants. Whew.

My eyes and throat are killed from the horrible cigarette smoke. But seeing the Big Mac, the leaves and the water was worth the drive and weirdos. Oh so much more to come.

And we so miss the Handsome One. He will come home tomorrow. I am certain that he doesn't miss us. :

I love that bridge. I love that bridge. I love that bridge. Is is possible to love a bridge? Because I, quite possibly, love that bridge. Of course, I was married kinda-sorta in its shadow so it has some sentimental value. But, even before that...I just have always loved that bridge.

Alright...enough already!

Great shots, by the way. North and south exposure? Or same side, different cloud-scape?

Isn't it stunning?? It's so beautiful, I just sat and stared at it. I don't know what it is but I could give up all worldly possessions just to live in its view.

Paul thinks that I am a little 'odd.' :)

Top one is from the UP side. (Nicer weather coming home) Bottom is from the lower peninsula - crummy weather, better coastline).

I have the full (HUGE) pictures if you would like me to send it to you. You know, if you need a screen saver.

(I would love to take those shots in the winter too....)
