Adventures in ballooning

This happened before July 4th. I waited on posting ... just to make sure that nothing really, really bad happened.  And nothing did so here is the fun and funny recount of the night.

Our neighbors, Sandi (photogeek like me) and her mother, Carol, had this cool balloon.  As the evening wound down, they invited us over to watch the balloon launch.
