The sun was rising (it's far to the south right now) and it cast a gorgeous light into a very bleak picture. I don't know why they are called snow fences ... really they should be called sand fences but perhaps because the snow brings the sand? Or both? All I know is the one year we didn't put it up, it was $300 for a friend with his bobcat to move all the sand that accumulated at our door.
I've noticed something about summer. It's shorter than you want it to be, and it takes a longer time to come back than you want it to. I'll survive though. Love the picture.
