weekend

I am at home this weekend, most likely the only weekend this summer that I won't be cottaging.  Work prevailed and while I miss the sunshine and warm waters of our Lake Huron, catching up on laundry and work is a good thing.

Plus reading.  Lots and lots of reading.

We had a glorious 4th of July.  I took a ton of pictures of the fireworks up and down the beach, forgetting completely how challenging it can be to shoot the rockets' glare.  While I deleted a slew, I was happy with a few.








I was a healthy 2-4 miles from the action.  Good thing for long lenses and teleconverters.
