Holiday here we come!

It's Friday. For Paul, it's just another Saturday but for me, it's a wonderful Friday! After 4:30 today, I am done until January 2, 2008! Yikes! Who could believe that the year is 2008? I still remember the Y2K and thinking it was a big deal. Whodda thunk?

The bathroom is almost done. With hope and crossed fingers, the bathroom will be functional by the time I get home. Yesterday Jim put down the floor in the bathroom, the grout is finished and the painting looks fabulous. Today is all the plumbing, the double sinks, the mirror and the shower doors. Wow, that's a ton of work. Can't wait to see it.

Tonight just may be a crash night - it's been crazy busy at work and my "chi" is seriously disrupted at home with bathroom stuff all over the livingroom and garage. This weekend is looking good - friend needs a computer installed and Sunday, we have taking Christmas pictures of a good friend and her family! No doubt other events will interject themselves in our weekend - football, Samson, friends with dogs ... It's a wonderful time of the year.

We also need to do some deep cleaning around the house - construction creates a ton of dust!
