Christmas Eve

It was a normal workday at the college. I worked all day, and even held down the fort in HR for a few hours by myself. Fortunately, I didn't mess anything up or burn anything down. Good news. :)

Tonight is one of my favorite nights of the year! We are having dinner with good friends Bud and Barbara. Barbara is cooking tenderloin and I am sure some terrific sides. What, I don't know. I will have to post a follow up. First thing in the AM, we will drive them to the Amtrak station as they catch the train to Chicago to visit family.

Paul has the turkey brining for our feast tomorrow. With the turkey will be rice pilaf and a chopped salad. It will be wonderful. Promise everything over at the Cafe.
