Rough Week

I spent the week primarily in a fog - a Sudafed, Dayquil, NyQuil induced fog, depending on the time of day (or night). I don't recommend it. I even checked WebMD for help. This has been a rough winter for me, despite the fact that I do all the elementary things like drink plenty of fluids, get plenty of rest and maintain moderation. At least for me, it hasn't worked. In my moments of coughing and hacking, no sleep but exhausted, hungry but unable to eat, I turned to my inspiration. Samson the Handsome One. He can eat and sleep despite my illness, the financial crisis and the Middle East. Such a life. Whenever I caught him resting or sleeping, I grabbed a picture. It didn't help me one bit but at least it is content for a blog post and dang if he isn't handsome? At least someone in the household was sleeping.

Oh and good news for me. I finally got into a photography class at Norman Camera. That class is at the end of January. Can't wait! I also have a new DVD on Creative Lighting for my camera - basically using a Flash for dummies. It's harder than it sounds! I have Cara, an absolutely amazing photographer and friend to thank for the recommendations. I have much to learn and will take all the assistance offered.

It is snowing again today. Not the original 3-5 inches forecasted (I never thought the storm had those kinds of legs anyway) but enough snow to entire Samson the play, romp and chase frisbees. It's a cuddle-in kind of day. Tonight the Red Wings play and oh yeah, there is some football game on. ;)

Enjoy the weekend!

I'm doing the Sudafed, Dayquil, NyQuil cuddle-in kind of weekend too.
And waiting for the Steeler-Charger game tomorrow.
